In this project we are examining the unique aspects of adventure and extreme adventure to determine how these activities enhance the human-nature relationship and facilitate wellbeing for participants. We are also exploring performance and learning.

The nature schools project is examining staff and parent’s perceptions of how nature schools influence children’s wellbeing, resilience and learning engagement.
Integrating nature into health curriculum
This project sets out to determine how best to integrate nature experiences in higher education health curriculum. We know nature is good for us and in recent years the call to integrate nature into health curriculum has become louder. The aim of this project is to determine how best to do this.
